Sculpture without painted decoration, on a low base with relief flowers and leaves. (Missing hands and tray). The model is based on a drawing of a confectioner/street vendor by French painter Cristophe Huet (1700–1759). J. J. Kändler modelled the first series of French sellers after the engravings of Edmé Bouchardon (Etudes prises dans le bas Peuple où les Cris de Paris 1737) in 1740. Peter Reinicke created the collection after 1753.
